Reflexology Basics and Easy Techniques!!

Who doesn't love a good foot massage!?  Reflexology is based on the belief that certain parts of your feet and hands are linked to other parts of your body through pressure points.  Activating these specific points reduces stress or pain in the corresponding parts of the body according to reflexology.  Studies on the subject are a bit inconclusive but it doesn't hurt to try a nice foot massage at home :)

Plus a good foot massage relieves stress all over my body :)

I love using Posh's Warm Your Sole Creme because it warms and moisturizes like a dream and helps the foot massage feel even more heavenly!

Here's a super easy to follow video with reflexology massage basics to get you (or your masseur) started:

Perfectly Posh Impish Eyes Serum: Before and After

Two Weeks of Caffeinator & Impish Eyes on her right eye (left side of pic) nothing on her left eye (right side of pic)

I honestly do not own this lovely product, but I have friends that love it and I have seen so many amazing results pictures that I decided to write a post about it.  :)

The ingredients in this serum that help so much are: Aloe Vera, Bisabolol, Caffeine, Citric Acid, Cucumber, Glycerin, Jojoba Oil, Panthenol, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and White Tea Extract.

Aloe is soothing as is Cucumber.  Caffeine works to constrict blood vessels and tighten the skin under the eyes along with White Tea Extract.  Many of the other ingredients have moisturizing and antioxidant properties.

"Too many late nights getting you down? Lift and brighten those peepers with our clever concoction of caffeine, cucumber, CoQ10, white tea, and other powerful ingredients that de-puff eyes and improve the appearance of dark under-eye circles. Like a full night’s sleep in a bottle, Impish Eyes soothes, hydrates, tightens, and brightens delicate skin around the eyes. Apply a small amount to puffy, tired eyes to make them appear more lively and alert."

You can find Impish Eyes and many other amazing products here!  Or click here if you want to chat with my on Facebook about this or other products.  Just send me a message :)

Cucumbers: Do they really "Do Nothing"?

"You want to know a big secret? The cucumber does nothing! Heh, this is something we make up."
— PaoloThe Princess Diaries.

Remember this quote from the Princess Diaries?  I remember being intrigued by what he said but at the same time questioning it.  Well guess what!?  Paolo was wrong!  Cucumbers actually can and do serve a purpose in facials.  Having cool cucumbers helps reduce inflammation and puffiness due to the temperature and the nutrients in the cucumbers.

I also found a great article from Huffington Post that explained more about the cucumbers from a dermatologist, Dr. Gregory Nikolaidis.

“If puffiness is accompanied by irritation, home remedies like cucumbers or chamomile tea can help reduce the inflammation and swelling,” says Dr. Nikolaidis. “Cucumbers have powerful antioxidants and flavinoids that are thought to reduce irritation. And they need to be chilled for a reason, as he points out that “cold cucumbers or tea bags also work in part by the cooling effects of evaporation, and are best applied for four to five minutes.”

You can read the whole article here.  You can also check out our Impish Eyes Depuffing Serum (with cucumber and a ton of other amazing ingredients) in action by clicking here.
